Earn Dew Through Crops and Cooked Food
Earn Dew in the Loftia demo by selling harvested crops and cooked dishes through the Shipping Bin on your plot. A useful early loop is to grow crops, make Fruit Smoothies from gathered Cherries and purchased Sugar, then put your earnings into garden-bed permits.
This route covers the October 2026 demo in Loftia City, which stops before the Hanging Gardens. The food values below apply to the demo; keep closed-beta money routes separate, especially those built around the Community Farm.
Start the Crop and Smoothie Loop
- Complete The First Sprout to unlock the Shipping Bin and Cooking Station. This gives you the sales and cooking options needed for the route, so make it your priority before spending Dew on extra purchases.
- Ship the crops and dishes you can spare through the Shipping Bin on your plot. Keep anything requested by your current goals, and use the sale proceeds to fund your next planting and permit purchase.
Compare Food Values Before Spending Energy
Compare a dish's sale value with what its ingredients would earn if shipped raw. That ingredient value is an opportunity cost, rather than a shopping bill. Fruit Smoothie's Sugar figure is a purchase cost instead, and these comparisons come before crafting energy.
| Dish | Details |
|---|---|
| Garden Salad | Ships for 75 Dew; its ingredients have a combined shipping value of 55 Dew. |
| Fruit Smoothie | Ships for 20 Dew; Sugar costs 5 Dew, with Cherries gathered separately. |
| Veggie Egg Scramble | Ships for 60 Dew; its ingredients have a combined shipping value of 45 Dew. |
| Carrot Soup | Ships for 35 Dew, compared with 30 Dew for two raw Carrots. |
| Tomato Soup | Ships for 65 Dew, compared with 60 Dew for two raw Tomatoes. |
Carrot Soup and Tomato Soup sell for more than their raw ingredients, but cooking still uses energy. Save energy for any progression craft you are working toward, then cook the food you want to sell. Use these demo values when an older closed-beta guide shows a different price.
For crops sold without cooking, the demo also offers a straightforward comparison against seed cost.
| Crop | Details |
|---|---|
| Lettuce | Earns 5 Dew above its seed cost in the demo. |
| Tomatoes | Earn 15 Dew above their seed cost while you collect smoothie ingredients. |
Buy Garden Space, Then Support Your Cooking
Visit Amani in Loftia City to expand the number of objects you can place. More garden space supports more crops, while additional energy stations support cooking. Keep your next seed purchase covered before committing the rest of your Dew.
- Craft an additional 2x2 Garden Bed with 5 Clay and 10 Scrap Wood so you have a bed ready for the new placement allowance. The bed holds up to four crops.
- Consider the Processing Stations permit after you have a processing station and need more capacity. Its first upgrade costs 300 Dew and permits two stations, so postpone it if your current setup is already meeting your needs.
Keep Quest Supplies and Budget for Coordinates
Keep quest-requested scrap, Glass Cullets and Scrambled Coordinates out of your sale stock. Save those for progression, and use surplus crops and cooked food for routine Dew. Check what your active goals need before emptying a whole stack into the Shipping Bin.
If you need to purchase coordinates, Cella sells them for 30 Dew after The Real Treasure unlocks her shop. Treat that as a purchase for the goal you are pursuing, rather than an automatic expense as soon as you earn money. Keep requested Scrambled Coordinates so you do not sell something you still need for progression.
Leave Community Farming for Early Access
The Community Farm is outside this earning route because the demo stops before the Hanging Gardens. Community Farming and Fishing are listed among the planned Early Access additions, so keep those activities separate from your demo Dew plan. During the demo, return to crops and Fruit Smoothies when you need money for seeds or permits.
