Get Coordinates and Complete Ryder's Adventure
Gather three Scrambled Coordinates, return to Ryder at the Adventure Dock in Loftia City, and complete his introductory Adventure to finish Adventure Awaits! Start by looting Screws and destroying Washing Machines in the Scrap Quarter, or collect coordinates from the other gathering and salvaging sources below.
Reach Ryder at the Adventure Dock
If you have already met Ryder and received the coordinate objective, you can head straight out to gather. If you are still working toward his introduction, continue the glider quest chain through Cliff and Milo.
- Follow Cliff's Permission to Glide quest to Milo. Complete Milo's gathering tasks, build and use the Refining Station on your island, then return to him in Loftia City.
- Speak with Ryder and take on Adventure Awaits! His introductory objective asks you to collect three Scrambled Coordinates before completing the Adventure.
Every Scrambled Coordinate Source
Coordinates can appear while gathering plants, collecting ground resources and salvaging objects. Washing Machines are a useful starting target, but you can keep collecting from other eligible sources as you travel instead of restricting your search to the Scrap Quarter.

For the introductory quest, start with gathering so you can save your Dew. Treat the chest and shop as alternatives when their prerequisites are met, and keep the quest reward for Adventures after you finish helping Ryder.
Finish Adventure Awaits!
- Gather the requested three Scrambled Coordinates. Use the Scrap Quarter's Screw pickups and Washing Machines as your starting route, then try other eligible gathering nodes if you are still short.
- Return to Ryder at the Adventure Dock in Loftia City once you have the coordinates. Continue with his introductory Adventure; collecting the requested items is part of the quest, and completing the Adventure finishes the task.
- After completing Ryder's task, return to Cliff to continue the glider crafting chain. Helping Ryder comes before receiving the glider blueprint in this progression route.
What an Adventure Spends
Adventures spend Scrambled Coordinates to begin exploration. Ryder's request for three coordinates is the introductory quest objective; use the entry requirement for the Adventure you intend to start when deciding how many to keep.
Adventure Awaits! rewards 15 Scrambled Coordinates. Save that reward for further Adventures, and replenish your supply through gathering, qualifying Daily Goodies Chests or Cella's Key Shop once you have completed its prerequisite.
If You Are Still Short of Coordinates
Make sure you have reached Ryder's coordinate-gathering objective before focusing on the hunt. The October 21 Patch #1 increased coordinate drops during the relevant quest step, making that objective the sensible time to concentrate on collecting.
Coordinates are possible drops from gathering sources, so keep moving through eligible nodes instead of expecting every interaction to provide them. Mix plant gathering and ground-resource pickups into your salvaging trip to give yourself more opportunities.
If you want an alternative to gathering, check whether a qualifying Daily Goodies Chest is available after Ryder's introduction. For purchases, complete The Real Treasure before relying on Cella's Key Shop as your coordinate supplier.
Demo Changes and Early Access Adventures
Adventures are included in the October 2026 demo, and its coordinate drops received the quest-specific patch change described above. Closed-beta mechanics belong to an earlier build, so keep those older routes separate from the demo's updated coordinate sources and drop behavior.
Early Access is planned for November 3, 2026. More distant research islands and additional Adventure gauntlets are planned through Ryder's Airship, expanding beyond the challenges available in the demo.
