Complete the Loftia City Datapad Collection
Loftia City's documented collection contains 10 datapads; the table below lists every title with its landmark or approach. Only Loftia City is available in the October Steam Next Fest demo, so Hanging Gardens and Gridfall pickups belong outside this demo run.

Use the interactive map for the exact collectible marker within each search area. The landmarks above help you choose where to head, while the entry titles help you match what remains in your collection. Before starting a rooftop climb, check the marker for the title you actually need.
Bring a Glider for the Elevated Routes
The beta city route uses a Glider for the hills gap and combines parkour with gliding at the construction-site rooftops. Its Scrap Quarter approach uses stairs, a gap jump, and a pickup beneath a canopy. Use those climbing approaches alongside the title-and-marker checklist above.
Follow Cliff's Permission to Glide chain to get your Glider. The associated tasks involve Milo and Ryder before you return to Cliff and craft the Glider at your Project Station. This equipment helps with city traversal, but it does not remove the demo's district boundary.
Sweep the Landmarks Before Tackling the Climbs
- Begin with the city-center balloon, Solar Farm, the alley by Estella, and Global Village. These stops form the opening ground-level sweep of the beta city route.
- Return to the hills once you have the Glider. Climb the mountain first, then cross the gap to reach the elevated pickup.
Visit the Airtram station and Ryder's Adventure Ship area together. Check the left side as you enter the station, then look behind the ship at Ryder's stop.Playing this video connects to YouTube.
- For the beta Scrap Quarter canopy approach, take either staircase on the yellow buildings and jump across the gap. Look beneath the canopy after reaching the far side.
- For the beta construction-site rooftop approach, climb the scaffolding, hop between buildings, cross the plank, and continue over the rocks. Match the pickup's title with the map before committing to the climb.
- Check Literally Our Origin Story in the initial arrival area before finishing your sweep. Use the named checklist to catch any missing entry around Milo's workshop or the commercial district as well.
Separate Demo Pickups From the Other Districts
The archived collection contains 30 datapads across Loftia City, Hanging Gardens, and Gridfall. The Hanging Gardens and Gridfall collections include older beta content outside the October demo. Keep those district collections separate when checking whether your City hunt is complete.

Additional traversal equipment is planned for Early Access. The Glider's Propeller upgrade lets you fly higher, Bounce Shoes help you reach heights in Hanging Gardens, and rail boots let you ride Gridfall's rails. Keep those additions separate from the basic Glider needed for the city gap-crossing route.
Check Your Collection Before Leaving
Datapads are lore collectibles tracked under Collections. Look for hanging paper notes with butterflies as you explore the city. Compare your collected titles with the table, then return to the landmark associated with whichever entry you still need.
