Earn the Golden Ball Through Successful Bounces
Earn the Golden Ball in Loftia's Don't Drop the Ball minigame by reaching a streak of 25 successful bounces; the Golden Pebball requires 100. The Pebball is the intermediate reward at 75 bounces. These are separate reward toys, so the Golden Ball and Golden Pebball have different unlock goals.
Follow Pebble's Social Minigame Quests
Progress through Pebble's social minigame questline to reach the bouncing activity. Let the Pebblethon Begin leads into the Pebblethon challenges, including the Bonk Challenge and Bounce Challenge. If you have not reached those quests, follow the prerequisite chain below.
- Complete The First Sprout to open Pebble's side quest, The Extremely Secret Surprise.
- Finish The Extremely Secret Surprise, then take Let the Pebblethon Begin from Pebble.
- Finish Let the Pebblethon Begin to open Pebblethon: The Bonk Challenge with Pebble.
- Complete Pebblethon: The Bonk Challenge to open Pebblethon: The Bounce Challenge, and continue Pebble's minigame questline toward the bouncing activity.
In the closed beta, Pebble offers the Pebble-A-Thon in Pebble Park after the introductory NPC tour. Completing its tasks unlocks extra emotes and the beach ball used for the keep-it-up game. The Golden Ball, The Pebball and Golden Pebball unlock through minigame achievements. Their unlock requirements are bounce milestones rather than Dew prices, material costs or crafting-station prerequisites. Focus on reaching Pebble's activity and meeting the requirement for your chosen reward.
Work Toward the Golden Pebball With Other Players
For the Golden Pebball, work with other players toward a streak of 100 successful bounces. The Golden Pebball demonstration recommends finding a group through Loftia's Discord community. Everyone joining your attempt needs to be on the same server to play together. Loftia lets you change servers so you can join your friends. Agree on a meeting place before starting, then make sure the group is together.
Following the Walkthrough in the Demo or Early Access
The linked beach-ball walkthrough shows the closed beta. The October 2026 demo includes Loftia City and social minigames, and ends before the Hanging Gardens. Early Access is planned for November 3, 2026; when following beta footage, use your character's current quest objectives to guide your progress.
