Start With Cella in Loftia City
To get started with Treasure Hunt, take Cella's The Real Treasure side quest in Loftia City. October demo players have seen events around the half-hour mark, but you should follow the current in-game event notice for your start time.
When to Watch for Treasure Hunt
Around half past the hour is a useful time to check for an event notice during the October demo. That timing comes from player observations and should not be treated as a guaranteed recurring schedule across time zones. Let the current notice guide your session instead of planning around a fixed timetable.
Keep older closed-beta timetables separate when planning your session. Likewise, do not assume the demo's observed timing will become the Early Access schedule. Check the event notice again when you return in a different release.
Complete The Real Treasure
- Accept The Real Treasure from Cella in Loftia City to begin the introduction to keys and chests.
- Find three Regular Keys to fulfill Cella's collection objective.
- Report to Cella after collecting the keys to move on to the chest-opening task.
- Open a chest to complete the next part of Cella's introduction.
- Report back to Cella to receive a Golden Chest Key and unlock her related shop.
Get Chest Keys and Plan Your Spending
After the shop becomes available, Cella's Key Shop lists a regular Chest Key for 250 Dew and a Golden Chest Key for 5,000 Dew. Completing her introductory quest also rewards a Golden Chest Key. If that is the key you want, finish the quest before deciding whether to buy another.
During timed events, look for chests rather than expecting the same route and drops every time. Chest locations and special drops can vary during community events and Adventures. Keep your plans flexible instead of relying on a particular chest being in a particular spot.
Special Chests Outside Adventures
- Where can I find golden or purple treasure chests outside Adventures?
- Try the player neighborhood, the area around the Kickstarter Hall, and active timed events. October demo players have reported occasional special chests in those places, alongside chests encountered in Adventures. Treat these as places to look, rather than guaranteed spawns or a route with a dependable respawn timer.
