Cliff's Quests Lead to Hanging Gardens
Cliff's glider and travel questline leads to Hanging Gardens through the Airtram Station, but the demo stops before you can enter the district. Complete Permission to Glide and Certified Flying Loftian to prepare for district travel; Hanging Gardens itself is planned for Early Access.
Open Loftia's Steam page to get the demo or view the planned release.
Follow the Glider and District Travel Questline
The route starts with the main quests in Loftia City and eventually brings you to Cliff's travel objectives. Milo's refining work and Ryder's Adventure are part of the journey toward your Glider. Use the quest names below to find where you are in that progression.
- Complete the opening main quests through The First Sprout and City Tour. This takes you through Pebble and Hazel's introductions toward Permission to Glide, the travel-related quest involving Cliff and Milo.

Complete Milo's Refining Station tasks on your island. Building and testing the station teaches you to process raw materials as you work toward the Glider.Playing this video connects to YouTube.
- Complete Ryder's Adventure at the Adventure Dock in Loftia City. His task comes after Milo's refining work and must be finished before you can get the Glider blueprint from Cliff.
- Craft the Glider at the Project Station on your island once you have its blueprint and required materials. This supplies the equipment at the heart of Cliff's gliding questline.
- Follow Cliff's remaining main travel quests, including Certified Flying Loftian, Meet Cliff by the Dome and Meet Cliff at the Airtram Station. These lead toward district departure, where the demo's Hanging Gardens boundary still applies.
Why Travel Stops at the Demo Boundary
The October demo covers the opening Loftia City adventure and ends before entry into Hanging Gardens. Finishing the Glider and travel quests does not remove that content boundary. If you have reached the departure point, you have reached the limit of that district progression in the demo.
Early Access is scheduled for November 3, 2026, with Hanging Gardens among its additional districts. Closed-beta gameplay showing players farming, shopping or travelling inside Hanging Gardens depicts a different playable build. Keep those activities separate from what you can reach during the demo.
Hazel's Shop and the Closed-Beta Shortcut Home

In the closed beta, Hazel's seed-shopping location moved from Loftia City to Windmill Island in Hanging Gardens after you unlocked the district. Her later shop included Pineapple seeds. This was a shopping destination beyond the opening city progression, so the demo's travel boundary prevents that visit.Playing this video connects to YouTube.

Closed-beta players could use the hot-air balloon on Windmill Island to return directly to their neighborhood. The balloon also offered travel to a friend's neighborhood. It provided a useful trip home after shopping or gathering without going back through Loftia City.Playing this video connects to YouTube.
How the Closed-Beta Community Farm Worked
Hanging Gardens' Community Farm was a shared growing event in the closed beta. Its Dew and seed rewards made it useful when you needed planting supplies for your own plot. The following sequence describes that beta activity, which sits beyond the demo's accessible area.

Sign up with Arlo during the five minutes before the hour to join the upcoming round. Closed-beta rounds started on the hour and allowed up to 10 players.Playing this video connects to YouTube.
- Read the crop request on the board to see what the team needs you to grow.
- Set the seed switcher to the requested crop so you can collect the matching seeds.
- Take seeds from the dispenser to supply your planting for the board's request.
- Plant the requested seeds in your event slots to begin growing the crops the team needs.
- Water the planted crops using the dew collectors to tend them during the round.
- Deliver ripe crops to the basket to fulfil the requests shown on the board.
Avoid planting more than you can maintain. The closed-beta event gave you four crop slots, and crops left to wither counted against the team. Keeping your current planting healthy was part of helping the group.
Beta rewards included Dew, skill points, seeds and clothing fragments. Higher team ranks could award rarer seeds such as Pineapple and Onion. If you joined because your own farm had run out of supplies, the seed rewards gave you something to plant back home.
What Early Access Plans for Hanging Gardens
The planned Hanging Gardens district is a green floating island on the edges of Loftia City. Its announced attractions include community farms, fishing spots and a mysterious dark forest. Bounce Shoes are also planned as a way to reach greater heights in Hanging Gardens.
Community Farming is planned to feature fast-paced growing and friendly leaderboards, with what players grow helping support Loftia's people. Those announced features explain the district's farming focus. The closed-beta event sequence above describes how it previously played, while the demo ends before you can take part there.
